Parish Council is a consultative/advisory body which advises the Parish Priest on different matters concerning the parish life. One of the primary functions of the Parish Council is to support the spiritual growth of the congregation. This involves organizing liturgical services, religious education programs, and various community events. The council works closely with the parish priest to plan and implement the church calendar, including the celebration of the sacraments, feast days, and special liturgical events. By doing so, they ensure that the spiritual life of the parish remains vibrant and aligned with the traditions of the Syro-Malabar Rite.
We elect parish council members from the Family Kudumba Koottayma Units for a term of 2 years and we have a parish council meeting in monthly, bimonthly intervals to discuss and finalize various matters concerning to the parish.
